The Planter’s camp is 265 kms from Bangalore, 120 kms from Mysore and 160 Kms from Mangalore.
The way to Kirudale in Coorg is to proceed from Bangalore to Mysore and on to Kushalnagar. From Kushalnagar please go on to Sunticoppa on the Madikeri Road. At Sunticoppa, take the right fork to Madapur Town on the Somwarpet Road. At Madapur Town, please take the right turn IN the town and head for roughly 5 km before you come to a river crossing on your left. At the stream crossing, go down, cross and take the left road up to Kirudale. (In case you are coming directly from Bangalore, you can bypass Mysore. The distance from Mysore to Coorg is covered in roughly two and a half hours. You enter Coorg from Kushalnagar and start climbing shortly thereafter.
